Option A offers a longer, trekking-focused experience, while Option B combines a shorter trek with elephant care and bamboo rafting. Actual walking conditions may vary depending on the group’s pace, weather, and trail conditions.
The rice fields are usually lush and green from June to November during Thailand’s rice-growing season. Outside this period, they may be dry, recently planted, or already harvested.
The trekking route passes through an area managed by the national park. Please follow your guide’s instructions, stay on designated trails, and respect the natural environment.
Bamboo rafting is included in Option B only and may be cancelled if weather, water levels, or river conditions are considered unsafe.
The elephant care experience is included in Option B only.
Swimming at the waterfall depends on weather and water conditions. The guide will consider the group’s preference, but the final decision will be based on safety.
This tour supports eco-tourism and local communities. Please avoid leaving waste and help protect the natural environment.
You may bring a small backpack during the trek. Larger luggage can be stored at the local office, but please keep passports, money, electronics, and other valuables with you at all times.
For guests making separate bookings, please send all booking reference numbers at least 2 days before the travel date. We will try to arrange the same vehicle, but this cannot be guaranteed.

Airport pickup is not available. This tour is not recommended for guests arriving in Chiang Mai on the same day or those with tight onward travel plans, as return times may vary.

Day 1: City centre to Mae Win District :Trekking, Waterfalls & Hill Tribe Experience

Hotel Pick up time is between 08:00-08:30 AM.

PTT Station

Drive 35 minutes to the countryside, followed by a short rest stop at a petrol station for snacks and last-minute essentials.

San Pa Tong (Pass by)

Enjoy a 45-minute scenic drive into the mountains.

Ban Kat

Stop at a traditional Thai market where your guide will buy fresh ingredients and seasonal fruits. Enjoy observing the daily routines of local people.

Mae Win

Activities vary depending on the option selected: Option A – Longer Jungle Trek: Enjoy a trekking-focused experience through jungle trails, scenic rice fields, and mountain landscapes. Have lunch along the way and visit a Karen village to learn about the local community and its traditional way of life. Option B – Elephant Care & Shorter Trek: Begin with an elephant care experience, including learning about the elephants and helping to feed and bathe them under the supervision of the local team. Afterwards, continue with a shorter trek through the jungle and rice fields before visiting a Karen village.

At around 5:00 PM, help your guide prepare a traditional Thai dinner using fresh ingredients purchased at the local market. After dinner, relax by the campfire and settle in for an overnight stay surrounded by nature. The campfire experience is subject to weather and local conditions.
