What you can expect

  • Begin your trek with the scenic Ghorepani-Poon Hill trail, where you’ll experience one of the most iconic Himalayan sunrises over a golden sea of peaks, including Dhauragiri (8,167m) and Annapurna I (8,091m).

Continue deeper into the Annapurna Sanctuary, winding through bamboo forests and glacial valleys until reaching Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m) — a natural amphitheatre surrounded by towering snow giants.

Pass through traditional Gurung and Magar villages such as Ulleri, Ghorepani, Tadapani, Ghurjung, Chuile, Chhomrong, and Sinuwa. Experience the warm hospitality of the locals, known for their Dal Bhat, Gurung Bread, and homemade millet raksi.

The trail follows ancient trade routes used by the Gurung and Magar people and passes near sacred peaks like Machhapuchhre (Fishtail-6993m), believed to be the home of Lord Shiva and never climbed to its summit.

Over the decades, the Annapurna Base Camp Trek has become a symbol of adventure and natural harmony, attracting trekkers from around the globe.
