What you can expect

Embark on a guided tour of Hiroshima, Iwakuni, and Miyajima. Visit the Kintaikyo Bridge, Iwakuni Castle, and the Senjokaku Pavilion. Explore the Omotesando Shopping Street, Itsukushima Shrine, and the Daisho-in Temple.

Start your tour at Hiroshima Station. Meet your guide by the Shinkansen gates under the Tourist Information sign. Leave your belongings in a coin locker and head to your first destination, Kintaikyo Bridge.

Learn about the bridge's history and unique architecture. Cross the bridge and stroll through Kikko Park and Kikko Shrine. Board the Iwakuni Ropeway to reach the top of Mount Shiroyama.

Take a short stroll to Iwakuni Castle. Tour the different exhibitions displayed on each floor, ending with a viewing platform at the very top. Admire a fantastic view of the city and the Kintaikyo Bridge.

Descend the mountain and head to Miyajima. Walk to the Omotesando Shopping Street. Enjoy around 2 hours of free time to grab lunch, eat tasty snacks, or purchase souvenirs.

Make your way to the Senjokaku Pavilion. Learn about the history and different elements found within the shrine. Relax and take in the beautiful scenery of the island.

Next, visit the Itsukushima Shrine. Learn about Shintoism and the history of the shrine. Make your way through the temple and observe the different worship halls, the unique architecture of the “floating shrine,” and the iconic O-torii gate located in the Seto Inland Sea.

Walk to the Daisho-in Temple, a prestigious Shingon Buddhist temple located not too far from Itsukushima Shrine. Observe a myriad of Buddhist figures and multiple halls.

Finish the guided tour at the Daisho-in Temple. Make your way back to the Miyajima pier. Walk up to the O-torii gate during low-tide. Accompany your guide on the ferry back to the mainland and one last train ride, with the tour ending at Hiroshima Station.
