What you can expect

  • Jinja is a traditional, industrial, and commercial city in Uganda, hosting several agricultural industries, including agro-processing, fish-processing, and sugar production. It is also home to the source of the Nile, the longest river in Africa.
The city sits on Lake Victoria, the second-largest freshwater lake in the world, and has three hydroelectric dams that supply power for domestic and commercial use. Together with its historical character and status, these features have helped Jinja become a popular destination for exciting adventures.
