As fashion and beauty blogger at my site\u00a0Sassy Bella<\/a>,\u00a0I’ve\u00a0had to pack for events attended by some of the world\u2019s best dressed in the most stylish cities. Aussies love taking short breaks in the big cities, every weekend Sydney and Melbourne are inundated with visitors ready for a culture injection. Expedia’s done the hard work and planned a few city Short Breaks<\/a> for you. But even if you\u2019re going to shop up a storm,\u00a0you’ve\u00a0still got to look the part.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s my tips on how to pack for a short break and stay in style:<\/p>\n

  1. Pack for the destination and not for choice. If you\u2019re going on a city break, you probably don\u2019t need that bikini or beach towel<\/li>\n
  2. Choose clothes that are versatile \u2013 i.e. dresses that can go from day to night<\/li>\n
  3. Accessories are key \u2013 a great scarf can also be used as a sarong, while an amazing necklace or two will be more versatile than a few dresses<\/li>\n
  4. Keep beauty needs simple \u2013 moisturiser, cleanser, sunscreen, lipstick and a great make up compact. Think carefully about whether you really need your hair straightener<\/li>\n
  5. Just take a carry on bag. Remember it\u2019s a short break, you don\u2019t need the kitchen sink<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
