Located 170 km drive south of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.co.nz\/Darwin.d6131317.Destination-Travel-Guides?brandcid=blog.uniquesleeps.wildman.nt.author.expedia_131016\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Darwin<\/a>, most of which is on the sealed Arnhem Highway, the lodge is a fantastic base for exploring the <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.expedia.co.nz\/mary-river-wetlands\/?brandcid=blog.uniquesleeps.wildman.nt.author.expedia_131016\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mary River Wetlands<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.co.nz\/Kakadu-National-Park.d181601.Destination-Travel-Guides?brandcid=blog.uniquesleeps.wildman.nt.author.expedia_131016\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kakadu National Park<\/a>. It\u2019s an easy drive down from Darwin, so head out early and stop along the way at Spectacular Jumping Crocs on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.expedia.co.nz\/Adelaide-River.d6272400.Destination-Travel-Guides?brandcid=blog.uniquesleeps.wildman.nt.author.expedia_131016\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Adelaide River<\/a>, with a pizza lunch at Purple Mango Caf\u00e9 and Brewery, and still have plenty of time to enjoy the lodge\u2019s infinity pool and large terrace deck looking straight out at the bush.\u00a0The lodge itself dates back to 2011, with much of the main lodge building transported and repurposed from a station in Central Far North Queensland.
