The condo unit was very good. My family had a great stay there. The faculty, pool, and amenities were excellent. The bridge access from Vdara to the Aria, Cosmopolitan, and Bellagio casinos was great. Every casino feels integrated with Vdara. Overall, we had great time at Vdara, but we encountered several problems in the condo unit. The beds were kind of old and uncomfortable, especially the sofa bed it needs repair and a new mattress for sure. The automatic blinds and window shades are great, but when closed there are these gaps between the shades and blinds that a lot of light comes into the unit making it difficult to have a good sleep. The pillows are old and had no support, you end up the next day with back and neck pain. We had an issue with the kitchen sink, the garbage disposal was malfunctioning and it had a sewage stench in the kitchen area. Maintenance looked at it and said it needed to be changed. The bathroom hand sink was slow draining, too. Finally, it’s kind of difficult to get the bath towels, kitchenware and trash pickup from the staff. You need to call them every time you need something like that.

Appreciated the separate hotel lobby/check-in and no wait that avoided long lines for Caesar's main area. Secluded and quiet. Nice size room and bathroom. Liked the complimentary happy hour drink(s). Comfortable bed and bath towels. Excellent service by the in-room dining staff. On the downside the lighting and decor were dark and depressing, with dim lighting and browns, tans and blacks for colors rather than vibrant and colorful Japanese design. It also seemed like they were really squeezing for revenue for each room. For example, we did not like that we were provided with only 1 Keurig regular coffee cup (plus on decaf) daily and if wanted more then an additional charge. Could only connect 2 devices to wifi and if wanted another then an additional charge. They didn't seem very interested when I reported the room phone was not working and twice had to go to the lobby to ask questions about the hotel property rather than being able to call guest services.

The hotel is beautiful and very welcoming. The room we had was excellent with a view to the Sphere and good amenities. The only few down sides were the long waits to get the key card despite the online check-in, no kettle in the room and the luggage bearers asking for tips which seemed a bit much!
