Great location. Less than 1 minute walk to waikiki beach. Super convenient to diamond head and the zoo. Hotel connected to ABC store and lulu’s restaurant. If you rent a car, 24 hr in and out Valet parking is worth not spending half your vacation in a parking deck in Waikiki. From this location, you can get on and off H1 in 5 minutes and avoid the traffic. Hotel pool overlooks the beach and diamond head. Beach/pool towels provided. Pool has bar service through lulu’s.
Pool is ok, could use a refresh very soon. Room is clean and has good AC. We would stay here again.

She is the Grand Old Hotel of Honolulu. A few drawbacks with age but magnificent otherwise.

As soon as we came out of the elevator it stunk like cigarette smoke on the entire floor and in our bedroom. The smell was so strong in the carpets and curtains, it was pretty gross.
The shuttle to Universal was really convenient, and the food in the courtyard was good. The movies playing at the pool was a really fun idea although it was too cold at night.
