Excellent view, Beautiful black sand beach had quite a bit of trash on it, Food was ok, pool definitely needs repair but was functional, Faucet in bathroom was completely loose from the sink the flush button on the toilet was broken Lots of chickens crowing very early in the am There was a used condom in the couch. Staff was friendly Over all I would not recommend staying here until upgrades are made. The property appears underfunded for repairs and maintenance

The resort was above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - especially the fresh pastries and the omelette bar manned by Heinz. The snorkeling right off shore was fabulous. If we ever are able to return to Moorea, we will definitely stay at the Sofitel Kia Ora again!

The property and staff are as expected. We enjoyed our time here. My only dissapointment is that when the airline delivered our lost luggage to the hotel they failed to notify us it was in their storage. There it stayed untill we tracked it down just before our departure.

This hotel is amazing!! The views, food, staff, check in process, rooms and pools are fantastic. This was the first hotel we stayed in as apart of our honeymoon and we were overjoyed at how perfect everything was. From the cocktails at sunset to the shower room available to use before and after your room is ready, everything has been perfected. We can’t wait to return!

We had our dinner on the rooftop restaurant. I had the raw beef and it was delicious. Female saxophone player for a while. Breakfast was good. My only real complaint was that our shower was totally out of shampoo and body wash. The first floor waiting area is beautiful and comfortable for waiting in after checking out. Shower available before taxi to airport.
