nice property, what we expected. shame check in didnt tell us about discount at on site restaurant for people staying.

The bed was very comfortable and the studio was clean with a great little peep of a sea view from the balcony. Kym was friendly and welcoming too. We thought the bathroom was tired and in need of a revamp-the shower door was pretty rickety. It would have been nice to have had the kitchen better stocked with more plates and crockery and some essentials like salt and pepper and oil so that we didn’t need to go out and buy all that stuff for a few days and then have to leave it all there or throw it away when we headed home again. Overall our stay was pleasant and comfortable.

This location is always sold out for a reason. It is so welcoming and worth every penny. We absolutely love it here. And have stayed many times.

Nice beachfront property, albeit dated. Well secured. Easy check in procedures. Staff were not very friendly or willing to help with tour bookings though. Bathroom needed a good deep clean, but otherwise place was clean. Dishwasher did not work and 2 electrical points were loose off the wall and sparked when plug put in. A few household necessities would make the stay more welcoming. Overall fair for price

Positives: *Contactless property; the owner Mark was very nice & respectfully answered my questions via text regarding parking. *Check-in process very well-organised w/ clear instructions for key access/code etc. *Electric block-out blind helped w/ privacy, noise & light in the mornings. *Bathroom sink & vanity: Somewhat clean w/ good bench space. Negatives: *Really unfortunate to report the negative aspects of this property as Mark was so polite & helpful (as per above). *Generally, a very uncomfortable stay. *Guest house hasn’t been well-maintained; old house needs attending to. *When it rained, the front porch almost flooded w/ rain coming down the gutters. *Needs to be routinely fumigated & then surface-sprayed frequently. Had to deal w/ two cockroaches during my 2-day stay! *Only two parking spots on the property & street parking not timed ONLY during the weekend. *Smell upon arrival & during my stay was a mix of mould, air freshener & chlorine. *Room was nothing like the photo on Expedia. It hadn’t been cleaned / vacuumed at all well so I had to place my luggage on the bed & slept on one side of the mattress. *Mattress was old & so soft, felt like quick sand; it was really difficult to actually get out of it, nearly strained my wrist extensor / flexor muscles! During sleep,felt like I was sinking! *Furniture very old, second hand & dirty & not at all functional or computer-user friendly. *The fridge appeared clean on the outside but was mouldy on the inside.

The host was amazing. Great check-in process and very helpful. View from the room was excellent and location was great.
