"Stayed for one night while travelling with family. Beautiful setting in the mountains of New Hampshire, but within short driving distance of groceries and restaurants. Normally, I do not like rooms on the ground floor, but this room was quiet and close to an exit which made it very convenient to go to the car to load and unload. "What can you say? This is the famed Green Mountain Inn, and it lived up to all the hype.
The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful, and our room was incredibly charming, nicely appointed, and even had a working fireplace.
The only drawback was the whirlpool tub and shower. Anyone with even a slight mobility issue may find it difficult to get in and out, as the tub is very high and, in my opinion, the grab bars are not ideally positioned.
