Very noisy, esp at night with trucks going down the main highway.

We were greeted by a very friendly lady at reception, we saw her the next morning and she asked us if we needed anything like towels etc. The room was lovely and spacious, beds were comfortable. Everything was very clean!

We were lucky enough to book this place last minute and so glad we did - it was amazing. Friendly hosts who provided a wonderful welcome basket of milk, juice, yoghurt, biscuits, crisps granola and bread which was a really thoughtful touch. The place is huge and comfortable and we lit an open fire which was lovely. The accommodation is isolated from the main farm and is therefore wonderfully quiet and peaceful. The main bedroom is enormous and the king size bed very comfortable. The kitchen is v well stocked with a large larder. Would loved to have stayed another night but they were booked. Would 100% recommend.

The booking site was disappointing though, as they didn’t send the pin to the lock box for the key ahead of arrival - if you book via this platform, please ensure they send you the virtual check in at least the day before your arrival, else book direct. We had to dial the emergency number and fortunately the staff came to our rescue very quickly. Kudos and thank you to the vicarage team!
