My disabled son and I checked in the day after the Aug 15,2026 hurricane Lola. Due to the power outages there was an extreme delay in checking in. We arrived at 4:30 pm and had to stand in line to check in for almost 4 hours. The room was nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very overwhelmed from the storm complications so many of the amenities were not functioning. Hours long wait for bell service, and the tappa bar were loosing to go orders left and right. Took and hour to get a pizza to bring back to our room because there's no room service. I was disappointed the the laundry amenities were valet only. To wash a pair of pants was about $15. I would love to think the Hilton Hawaii village would have been wonderful if not for the commotion the storm caused.
