We recently celebrated our daughter’s 3rd birthday at the Shangri-La Hotel in Hong Kong, and it was truly unforgettable. We arrived on an early morning flight, traveling with a newly turned three-year-old, and Joy Drilon kindly arranged for us to access our room early so we could rest. That gesture alone meant so much to our family. On my daughter’s birthday, Joy went above and beyond. She prepared a beautiful birthday cake featuring my daughter’s favorite princess, Elsa, along with Elsa balloons, a lovely Shangri-La teddy bear Tony and Chef Sam, and even a framed family photo to commemorate the occasion. Every detail was thoughtful and heartfelt. Seeing the joy on my daughter’s face made the entire experience priceless. We are deeply grateful for the warmth, care, and genuine hospitality shown to our family. Thank you for making her 3rd birthday so magical and memorable. If you are traveling with children, I would highly recommend staying on the 45th floor at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong. The experience felt especially thoughtful and family-friendly, making our daughter’s birthday celebration even more special.

Location bit far from some areas but ok

For a traditional Disney hotel it is very good. Great location for a visit to Disneyland either on a bus or walking. Great location also to the train network to go and explore other parts of Hong Kong. Staff were very nice. Hotel restaurants were good. I would say that the property itself and rooms feel a little tired and in need of a refresh compared with the other two Disney properties. Also due to it being low season the outside pool and space was closed for maintenance. Overall I think good price for a Disney property compared to pricing in the US.

This 5-star hotel is little outdated. We stayed here for a week. The staffs are first class on greeting and helping you. The rooftop pool was excellent. The jacuzzi was good. The steam room was powerful. The rooftop shower room was great. Our room was on the petite size. It is bright during the daytime and dark during the nighttime, no overhead lights. No separate bathtub and shower. The hot and cold water handles are separate control. No rainshower, just one hose shower head. All the towels are nice, new and thick. The toilet seat is not soft close. The shampoo and body gel is a combined cleaner. The rooftop shower room has separate hair shampoo and body wash. The bed was comfortable. No wall usb charger, the desk usb charger provided were very slow - need more than 6 hours to fully charge a phone. One will need to bring universal plugs to charge your multiple devices. There are limited seatings at lobby and ground floor, just two small cushion seats, maximum good for 8 persons. No restrooms at the lobby nor ground floor. You will have to hold until getting to your room or to the shower rooms. The hotel is connected to Langham Place and MTR. The mall is small and dark for our taste, no big dimsum restaurants. We will return to our regular hotel next time.

Staff was very nice to upgrade room to suite which was a very beautiful room. The hotel was spacious and my room had a huge comfortable king size bed.
