Kennet & Avon Canal Trail Pet-friendly Holidays

We were given the choice on checkin of a king bed OR functional air conditioning. We chose AC but the edge of the mattress was so compressed that I fell out of bed at 1:30am. We asked for compensation but have heard nothing.

Very modern and nice hotel. Super convenient location with walking distance to trains and public transportation. The staff were so friendly and even prepared a gift for my special occasion. Will definitely come back next time.

Property was well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only down side is that they have no vending machine to grab quick drink or late night snack . The did however have good breakfast

Room was nice. Cons: Walls needed to be repainted. Bathtub leaked water and tiles were repaired badly. Was only here 2 nights, but our room was not cleaned after the 1st night. We didn't have any sign on the door to dissuade them. Extra bed had a caved in mattress. Pros: They were prompt when we asked for extra towels, additional baggage stands, toilet paper, etc. Welcoming sign on the TVs in our room. The staircase was beautiful and the hotel smelled really nice. The location was amazing, very close to National Gallery and the Circle/District lines on the Tube. The view from our room was very nice. Hotel staff was helpful.

The location was great—easy to access numerous sites by walking and by the underground. Breakfast was great and gave us a great start to the day. Everyone was very helpful when we’re needed it. Would absolutely stay here again when we return!
