We did pay for an ocean-view room but got a room facing the book and what I would call a partial ocean view.
Also, a bit strange because Expedia Platinum does mention free breakfast, but Expedia only pays for one guests' breakfast regardless of how many people you paid for the room (not a property issue)
Regardless a great location and we did get a newly remodeled room so overall it was nice, but I do wish there was more clarity in honoring room upgrades since we paid an extra $400 for the ocean view and were basically facing the pool.

We had an ocean view room but over a very loud AC unit from the adjacent hotel. The hotel is located right on the Waikiki Board walk though so very convenient access to the beach across the street and FABULOUS shopping.
