Similan Islands Pet-friendly Holidays

I had a great vacation at Bandara Beach Resort. It is located in a very quiet part of Phuket. The ocean is calm and clear. The roof top pool was great to cool down from the heat while listening to great music. The bartender made very strong and tasty cocktails. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the fact that we couldn’t lounge on the beach chairs because they are owned by the Flamingo restaurant, which is apparently, a separate company from the hotel. The breakfast buffet, which was served at Flamingo restaurant, was delicious and fresh! I’ve also had lunch and dinner there a couple of times and each time the food came out very tasty. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. Everyone I encountered from the staff were all very friendly and professional. I would stay here again on my next vacation to Phuket.

Very nice property that is well maintained and accessible. The staff was always kind, friendly and attentive. However, we experienced one less than pleasant dining event at their Laku restaurant. After two hours of sitting and several mixups with plating we up and left. We ended up going to their beach restaurant, Kabang. Once staff at that site caught wind of our bad dining experience, their staff did a phenomenal job making up for the shortcoming of Laku. Furthermore, they were apologetic and genuinely sorry for the lackluster service and experience we had. The following day, a manager in training (Spanish young lady) came over and showed face, heard us out and graciously offered to make up for the experience we had. It was a kind gesture and our only request was to address our concerns for the visitors coming behind us. Aside from this dining experience, my wife and I enjoyed our one week stay. I would certainly visit again if the opportunity presented itself.

Refreshingly amazing! Had a room with a pool and spent a lot of time there relaxing watching the water and hearing the waves. Ning and Tob in the restaurants made our stay magical. The food is phenomenal and the menus are diverse with so many choices, you never eat the same thing twice, though you want to. The masseuses are remarkable, talented and so welcoming and friendly. The front staff never missed an opportunity to make us feel welcome and relaxed. The location is ideal. Close to all without hearing anything but waves.

Kalima Resort & Spa is an excellent choice if you want to be close to Patong while still enjoying a peaceful setting away from the intensity and noise of the main area. The location offered the best of both worlds: easy access to Patong, without feeling immersed in the chaos. This was my second stay in a Junior Suite, and I was again extremely impressed with the layout, comfort and balcony view. The room felt spacious and thoughtfully designed, making it a particularly enjoyable place to relax. Breakfast was another highlight, with an extensive variety of options to suit different tastes. The shuttle service to and from Patong centre, running every two hours, was very convenient and made getting around simple. I also appreciated the newly added Executive Lounge, which was a thoughtful amenity and an ideal place to spend time while waiting, particularly during check-in or check-out. The updated resort app was an excellent companion throughout my stay. It made it easy to see what was happening, keep track of activities and book services across the resort. The staff at every level were outstanding, friendly, attentive and professional. A special mention must go to Omi, who exceeded my expectations during my stay in 2024 and once again made my 2026 visit especially memorable. Whenever I travel to Phuket Patong area, Kalima Resort & Spa will be my first choice. I would be delighted to stay here again.
