A 2 night get away in the country for my daughter and I as she’s about to enter her last term of school. It was such a picturesque break, filled with birds, goats, llamas, and of course Bear, the horse. Charmaine was incredibly welcoming, and went out of her way to ensure we met the llamas early on in our stay, and multiple times after! The facilities were very comfortable, perfect for the reading and painting weekend we had planned. We only escaped once to have a look at town and the Mt Mee lookout. We’ll be back again!

We received a good welcome and entered a clean, warm cottage accommodation. The fire was an added bonus. The sounds of the birds was soothing although when it was chilly in the early morning and late afternoon, with sliding door closed soothing music, a glass of wine and a good book allowed complete relaxation. We had a thoroughly enjoyable 4 nights stay.

The room was set up in a bizarre way with a large number of lights in the internal stair being permanently on throughout the night. I presume this was because of safety as the stair, while only 1 step, was 10m wide. This meant the room was lit up like a Xmas tree. It explains why eye masks were provided but here we are in the rainforest and the room is lit. Very annoying.

We were very fortunate to have our stay in the villa. The views were spectacular, the amenities were tasteful, spacious and very relaxing. The private plunge pool was such a bonus to splash into at the start and end of our adventurous days. Andre' was a very caring host who ensured our stay was exactly what we needed. We will be back!!!

We stayed in the beautiful little Rose Cottage. The fireplace was a fantastic feature and the veranda offered privacy and a lovely view of the stunning gardens. The five minute walk to town is also an added benefit!! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!
