They charged me 40 $ for the parking. I did not know about it before getting to the hotel. Receptionist told me that they sent a notification to me through Expedia. I said I haven’t received the notification and I told her to check the notification on the Expedia app. When she tried to check it on my phone, the app was giving an error and no notification showed up. She said they received a response from Expedia that message was delivered to me, but it was not. I was charged an additional 40 $ because of Expedia app error on my phone. If I knew that before I would not choose this hotel. But I didn’t have any error when I was doing the reservation on the app, it was giving error only when we tried to check the notification! So be prepared for it..

Our overall experience at Hotel Isla Bella was very nice. The hotel itself is beautiful, the food is good, the amenities are lovely, and the spa was incredible. A special highlight was the massage with Tekla from Austria, she was absolutely amazing and made the experience even more memorable. That said, there were a few areas that could be improved. The in-room breakfast arrived with disposable items, and the table was not set, which took away from what could have been a more special experience. I also called about a month in advance to request a room near the restaurant, but unfortunately that request was disregarded. Housekeeping was another disappointment, as the sheets were not changed and there did not seem to be a clear way to request a change. We also had a frustrating experience with the diving center. It took four calls just to make a reservation, and then our reservation was canceled at the last minute. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the beautiful property, good food, wonderful amenities, and especially the exceptional spa experience. With better attention to guest requests and service details, the hotel could be truly outstanding.
