The hotel had about 10 parking spaces in front but they rented those out to a dealership to make extra money. So we had to use the underground parkade. We went out for supper and were told that parking is free by a receptionist who barely spoke German, the next morning we were charged 22 CHF for the parkade.

The location is fab. The views are worth the walk up the hill. The view will take your breath away. The views from the bedroom were beautiful, clean, comfortable and worth the money. The room was large, and comfortable. The restaurant food was delicious, breakfast was tasty and well stocked. Highly recommend a stay here. Staff were friendly and very accommodating with requests/info about the train back to Zurich. When we stayed the train from ZHB was not in service, however the walk to Selnau station was convenient. The walk from Uetliberg was beautiful and part of the experience.

The only reason I gave this property 4 stars is because the AC was a little lacking. I know that's the norm in Europe and it's hotter than usual. I would stay at this property again so would probably rate 4.5. I had issues with shower water temperature but my friend was able to help me. Also, would prefer wash cloths in the bathroom. Breakfast was pretty good for 15 CHF. Another small amenity that was really nice is on each side of the bed are plugs for your phone cables - USB or USB-C so no worries regarding converters. Definitely walkable from the HB station. A nice Greek restaurant was behind the hotel. Room and bathroom were very clean.

The hotel doesn’t have central Air. No other complaints.
