Beyond our best expectations. Staff were amazing - they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. It was a very quiet, small boutique resort - very decent sized pool. Would absolutely staff again.

Our stay at Nanuku Resort was absolutely perfect. The staff were warm and attentive, making us feel truly at home. The villa was stunning with breathtaking ocean views, and the resort’s private beach felt like paradise. Every detail was thoughtful, from the delicious food to the exceptional service. A wonderful place for families, we can’t wait to return!

The property has two parts, new building in white and the original establishment with higher category rooms (adult only). The central A/C in the new building is very strong, even when it's turned off. When the balcony door is open, it starts to get some moisture on the wall and smell like mold. The room is designed with an open concept which is suitable for a couple with intimate relationship (no kid). The bathroom is completely open with a sink and glass doors (no lock) to separate the shower and toilet areas. There is no hanger inside the shower if you want to dress/undress. The highest category room with balcony facing the sea has a wonderful view, but poorly isolated and hear people talking in the next room. Also close to the multi-functioning event hall. There was a wedding in the resort during our stay, with loud music 3 nights in the roll till 11pm. Breakfast is okay with some varieties but messy when it's busy. There is not much outside the resort, and the on-site restaurants make no effort to offer meal choices for Lunch and Dinner. Right on the beach with nice landscapes, two swimming pools need some refurbishments, the gym is very small with limited equipment, WIFI is very bad & unstable. Resort offers complementary use of kayak & paddle board which is a plus. Hotel stuff is quite nice especially the cleaning crew. Make sure you check the statement regularly since the deposit appear and disappear on the statement from time to time.

Excellent choice in Pacific Harbour! I just stayed here with a group of 21 university students at the conclusion of a two-week trip around Fiji. The rooms are large, comfortable, and in an attractive setting, and the price point for these rooms is an excellent value. The restaurant/bar/pool area provides a delightful environment for relaxing during the day/evening, plus the various specials that they run every day make for a very affordable stay. Moana and the staff are very helpful. Prior to our arrival, they assisted me in adjusting my dates with no problem, and also reached out to me via whatsapp to see if our group would like to attend their Thursday Island Night/Fire Show (which we did and thoroughly enjoyed). Throughout our stay the staff was very warm and helpful, and assisted us with any particular needs we had. Uprising is also part of the Duavata collective, which promotes culturally and environmentally sensitive travel across Fiji. This was my first time staying at Uprising, and I am very glad that we did. In the future, I will continue to bring groups here, as it is a great base for the various activities (diving, tubing, golf, fishing, etc.) in the Pacific Harbour/Beqa area).
