Jules was great, but when the coffee machine was down and the creamer was out, it would have been courteous for them to give vouchers to the aroma coffee vendor next door.

The King room with Diamondhead view was very small and the view was pretty limited. The hotel needs a serious interior refresh. The staff were pleasant and the room, not withstanding its limited size, was very clean.

The hotel is under heavy renovation/construction which causes a lot of noise and issues. One day the hot water was off from 10 am to 3 pm. To get from the rooms to the front desk you have to walk through a roped off path beside a large area where the workers are working, which will be the lobby. The staff gave us an upgrade to reduce the noise and accommodated early check in. The room was exceptionally beautiful with all of the modern features.
I think this hotel will be really nice when all of the renovations are complete, but I don’t think that will be for some time.
