I was charged a $500 deposit for smoking, even though I don’t smoke at all. I tried to inform the front desk, but they informed me that these deposits are automatically added and that there’s nothing they can do about it. I’ve stayed at Rio multiple times with my family. This is the first time I’ve encountered this issue, and it’s disappointing to say that this will be the last time I stay here.

New York New York is a fun place to stay. There are plenty of entertainment and dining options. The property is cleaned and well maintained in all common areas. Our room was clean and updated, however, the water in the shower was backing up to our ankles when taking a shower. I believe the hotel was experiencing some plumbing issues prior to our arrival. The hotel is right on the strip so it’s easy to walk anywhere and everywhere. We actually returned our rental car early because we did not need it. I would definitely stay again in this property. We had a great time and felt safe at all times.

My first time staying there and they upgraded our room since the one we initially were going to stay in wasn’t ready, the rooms and bathrooms are gorgeous and the staff was super friendly and always greeted us with a smile
