Panduwasnuwara Kid friendly Holidays

5 star view of the ocean, 3.5 star room, 2 star service from the staff. Stayed for 4 nights, first day was ruined due to being given a sub standard room. After complaining to the supervisor, we were given a nicer room with a beautiful view of the pool/ocean - but the room felt more like 3.5 star - nothing special, No mini bar and room was outdated. Paid nearly $200/night, not worth the price. Breakfast was the same for all 4 days of our stay. Also, felt that people of color are treated differently and raised this with the supervisor. The arrogant male staff in particular at front desk, restaurant and pool area need to be trained properly. This was raised with the supervisor.. Note that an additional 10% service charge, 18% VAT is added to food/beverage/spa.

The hotel was really convenient when landing in Colombo. You can walk to the beach and restaurants are close by. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel and it was great! Breakfast was really tasty with lots of food! We opted for both the Sri Lankan and English so we could try both options! The spa facilities were also great!

It is always a pleasure to stay on this lovely oasis. The rooms are clean and large. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom clean and spacious, and the teak furniture adds an exotic touch. The breakfast spread is fabulous, with Sri Lankan, Indian and western offerings. The Sri Lankan offerings are particularly yummy! This was my fifth stay, and I’ll be sure to return.

The service was amazing! They were super flexible with checking in and out. The place was super clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this place for those looking for something by the airport. Will be back for sure :)

It was a clean room. The food was also tasty. The Airconditioner facility was relatively old and did not function well.
