I like the Rio but the Automation systems are terrible and I asked for Room service two days and that was not easy. Why do I have to chase down someone to clean the room when it should be in price. You try to get someone and you get AI. Use people

Wonderful Hotel with great staff

My room was very quiet and I enjoyed having the kitchen amenities and the balcony. The bed was average. My only negative comments are related to the unusually excessive daily damage deposit that I wasn’t expecting - big upfront unexpected expense! Also there was no bus cart for me to take groceries up to my room - but the bellmen would do it for a set fee. The pool was lovely, but closed at 7pm, which seemed early to me for summer. I enjoyed my stay, but won’t probably return to this resort.

The staff was very helpful and courteous. I booked a smoking room, and they put us in a non smoking room. They corrected the error in record time. The right hand sink in the bathroom drained very slowly. The ice machine on our floor went out on Sunday, and they were working on it immediately, and my wife was able to get ice for her drinks on Monday. The room was very nice, although the TV did not get more than one channel. Room service was good, but expensive. Two burgers with fries, and four non alcoholic drinks was $238.00 dollars.

Overall a must stay when visiting the strip. It centrally located and the rooms a very spacious. The staff attentive. We were warmly welcomed at the front desk. Casino floor folks were friendly. Unfortunately, like most properties of this age, decor seemed to be well worn. Case in point, the once beautiful dresses are scuffed with marks by previous guests. Also, the bathrooms are but as super clean as they used to.
