Staff are welcoming and they have front desk staff late at night too. Very close to Ueno station. It’s beside a highway but their windows are able to block the car noise. Had no problem sleeping at night.

Great location, fantastic service, strange odor emanating from bathroom & very warm dry room, difficult to control with fan/humidifier they left in room, otherwise great breakfast and service all around.

Great location near the train station, the room Was a great size for our family of 4, clean and good amenities including kitchenette and two dining areas. Staff were helpful.

this hotel was absolutely amazing. the staff was so nice, friendly and also very welcoming. i booked another hotel in a different area before my stay only to then rebooked chinzanso because i missed it. i would 100% recommend this hotel whether it’s your first stay in tokyo or you’ve been there before. amazing. the garden during the day and at night is breath taking. i could have spent so much time there. when i come back to tokyo i will 100% be staying here again.

Wonderful hotel near Shinagawa Station! Highly suggest. This was our first hotel in Japan and was such a perfect landing space. The staff was helpful, the room was well arranged (and roomy), overall facility was perfect for us. AND it was only a short walk to a super busy station, so it was easy to get around! Stay here - splurge on a corner room - start your trip off right like we did!

The lobby is gorgeous, the staff are incredible and great communicators. The room itself is on the smaller side, decor and furniture appears to be older but extremely well maintained and very clean. Opening up the balcony door helped make things feel a bit more spacious for 3 people in a room this size. Otherwise, easy access to Shinkansen from the hotel. Limo bus from Narita drops off right at the front of the hotel but I didn’t use the airport shuttle. Didn’t get to explore too much of the surrounding area except nearby 24/7 7-11 and food court/halls. The hotel 7-11 does close late at night. I really liked the surrounding but I might choose something closer to a Yamanote line stop next time.
