The remodeling is in process. However, as a result, the lobby was extremely cold, like a wind tunnel. Also, the elevators were not working correctly, and there was no communication to patrons. We learned of it and a work around by the housekeeping staff. The hotel has our email to send the bill; it could have communicated the issue to us that way. Much ill will was generated by this issue. I would not have been so unhappy had there been some communication. We have stayed here several times and, now, probably will not.

Well appointed Hotel. Very good Services by concierge and doorman Clean Rooms and generally nice service. Loved the Christmas Carolers the hot Chocolate and hot cider in the front foyer Proximity wall the attractions and public transportation a huge plus

Too noisy and under construction

We are Canadians who stayed 2 weeks at this hotel and so happy we did. This hotel offered amazing staff, great atmosphere, fantastic cappuccinos and espresso’s. The breakfast had an abundance of selection. Eggs, bacon the usual and of course Italian style. We would share a bottle of wine on the terrace at night and enjoy the view. We were there Nov 29 until Dec 13. We would say the best time to visit Italy. We selected this hotel because it was away from the city center and more into the local area. Things were much cheaper especially groceries at PAM local. Favorite restaurant near by was I Belcastro about 10 mins away and the best margarita pizza you will ever taste. The bus is very close and the number of bus that gets you everywhere is bus 62 or 60. Get a bus pass to save money at the local station. But if you want to burn off calories and take a great walk, we waked about 3 to 5km a day. You won’t even notice that you walked that far because it’s a pleasant walk. So try both. If your like us and don’t want to stay in hotels in the heart of town where a billion people are than choose Hotel Delle Civette.
