The rooms need updating, some of the guest rooms were dirty upon checking in.

Needs work done. Elevators were pitch black & super hot inside.

Very nice resort, the vila 35 was a little outdated but worked. Food was great.

Room looked tired and a bit run down. The lights and plugs in a large are of the room did not work. Until the last day I was there. Also the room had a sewerage smell coming from a drain pipe in shower. Staff/Contractors would work at night. At three o’clock someone was using an electric grinder to cut tiles out side my room. Instead of getting a new room, and having to go through the hassle of repacking just to move rooms. I’d save money on tips. Staff were very nice, food was good. The entertainment became a bit repetitive and after a few nights, I realized it was a repeat of the same few shows shuffled around Riu’s three resorts. Overall hotel felt cheap, generic and bit desperate for profit. Not happy and would not recommend.

Highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The wife and I had a fantastic time and the Butler service was a nice amenity. They were very helpful. Shauna and Dean were extremely helpful and pleasant. All of the bars/restaurants also had exceptional service.
