Good place for layover
"My wife and I have stayed here many times for short layovers. Check-in was a bit slow, but the staff are eager and helpful. The store next door was good for bringing in some outside food (due to Celiac needs). Breakfast was good, but the wait staff are a little too eager to make suggestions."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Elgin Hotel. Our deluxe room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It also had a nice view. We loved the Victorian style of the main building where the reception, bar, lounge and library are located. All the rooms including the dining room were tastefully decorated. ..."
