"I have no doubt this place has wonderful bedrooms, but the one we had, room 116, most certainly wasn't one of them. Hot, stuffy, poorly ventilated, a view of a poorly maintained fountain and a wall. There was what appeared to be an extractor in the shower but it didn't seem to go anything as the bathroom became steamy after even a short shower. I would have expected A/C in a hotel like this. Staff were friendly and helpful enough, breakfast was very good, as was the Brehon Bar.
I understand...
"The resort is a bit out of the way but that was what made it special. No cell phone coverage at the resort so you have time to reset and enjoy your surroundings."
