The resort was so laid back and relaxing. We were treated like family by the staff. Their breakfast buffet was excellent and other meals at the restaurants were also very good. We both had massages at their spa and highly recommend it. We had an issue with our rental car not starting, and 3 of the employees went out of their way to make sure that we got it resolved. Overall, we highly recommend staying at this beautiful resort. The grounds and vegetation are gorgeous, including a beautiful Lilly pond by the spa.

Excellent staff who makes the stay perfect

This location, rooms and staff one of the best I've ever experienced, and I travel a lot. Every question answered, every request met. Welcoming warm people. We can't wait to go back. It's worth the longer travel on the Bula pass. The night fishing was one for the books. We had our own caught fresh fish everyday. 10 stars plus plus

A perfect stay at this beautiful resort. The staff was exceptional, the dining/food options were great for a weeklong stay. We had a Club Level room, which gave us access to free breakfasts, high tea and happy hour appetizers daily - the BEST! The Club Level also has its own pool perched on the hill with a beautiful view, with internet access/work area and a fun place to play cards. The beach is beautiful & it’s fun to watch it change with the tides - the low tide sandbar is awesome! So many activities and entertainment options, but also nice to lounge around at the many pool, sand and grass area loungers and cabanas. Can’t say enough good things. Highly recommend!

This place is paradise! We went to the four seasons bora bora last year and this place is of similar caliber! Highly recommend it for luxurious relaxing week

Awesome, friendly and accommodating staff. Great affordable food and drinks with a great selection of both. Good breakfast selection (continental and off the menu cooked breakfast). Lovely, well kept, established gardens with a great pool and surrounding area. A very authentic Fijian experience and would highly recommend if that's what you're after. The rooms/accommodation, whilst not 5* are very spacious and clean with air-conditioning and fans. Daily room service was impeccable. Perfect for an intimate or large celebration with a perfect function room and private outdoor area. Would definitely stay there again.

We booked Nakelo off the online images, and upon arrival it was clear the damage they had sustained from the recent cyclone. Our first day was cloudy and a bit windy so it didnt show off the resort to its beauty. We had 5 days there, and by the end we didnt want to leave. The staff are lovely (Henry 1, Henry 2, Lannie, William, and the rest of the staff), and enjoy having a laugh or joke with you. The room we had was great, the aircon was wonderful on those hot humid days to have a break in. The Kokada dish is a must try - our favourite! The snorkeling is amazing. Both sides of the island offer different snorkeling experiences and worth spending a day on each reef. The sand bar trip is great, the reef out there is a must dive and is where we saw our first reef shark. Watch out for the trigger fish near the shore - they will protect their nest and will chase and bite you if you get too close. The jetskis are no longer used as the company that operated them is no longer there. The facilities need alot of refurbishment and they know that, but hopefully soon they get the funding to do what they need. There was only 14 of us on the island at any time and it was heaven. The whole island to ourselves and no kids - bliss. We got to release a turtle which was incredible. They have turtles and iguanas on the island which you can feed. There was trash around the beach which was a shame to see and would be an easy fix, but overall we loved out time, and we will be back in the future.
