Maremma Coast Cheap Holidays

The Aparthotel Colombo Roma. This was a little further out of the city than I had thought, and not the easiest of things to find. On a main road between a row of shops and apartments there is a security gate through that and down an ally you find this hotel, very trendy, warm and welcoming. Staff were so helpful and friendly, breakfast was between 7-10 each day i never used this as i was out early. The room was very clean with a kitchenette with a fridge combi microwave and a dishwasher yet no pots! The transport network is good lots of busses outside the hotel the 160 and L70 both go close to the Colosseum and Trevi fountain. The Garbatella Metro station is about 10 minutes walk basicly turn left out of the hotel walk down to the traffic lights and turn left again just follow that road all the way to the motorway bridge and the station is on the left. I paid €22 for a 72 hr pass on all public transport Metro, Bus and Trams. Overall I enjoyed my stay and it was a good base.

Clean room. Basically breakfast. Really friendly and helpful reception staff. Great location for the Vatican City and close to the Metro.

Beautiful and quiet property, the room was very clean and the dinner at their restaurant was delicious. Everyone was very nice as well. My only issue was that the mattress was not comfortable, I could feel the springs in some areas. Other than that, this was a wonderful stay.

Very convenient location and rooms felt big and clean.
