9.4/10 Exceptional! (3,058 reviews)
Our room was very clean and comfortable and spacious. My only suggestion would be a little more Hawaiian decor and color in the room. It just looked like any other hotel room and we would have liked a more cheerful, tropical flair for a visit to Hawaii.
While the hotel had many opportunities for activities and relaxing by a lovely pool, our favorite thing was the Monkeypod restaurant on site. It had beautiful decor, ocean views from the tables, live music from talented artists and everything on the menu was delicious. The wait staff and bartenders were all very fun and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Needless to say we ate all our meals there!
We also ordered from there for room service and our food was delivered right away.

Totally enjoyed the hotel
The only thing that could be better is the floor in which they do their breakfast in needs to be bigger
Otherwise the hotel is awesome

What a lovely experience. The place is full of nostalgia and history. The food was pricey and darn good. The breakfast was great. The staff were friendly and warm. The beach is absolute perfection. We swam in the clear warm water and went out on a catamaran that was fun. In the bar we heard the best local singer Johnny Valentine so musical The mushroom pesto pasta was incredible. My wife says she fell in love with the place and cried when we left.

The staff was amazing. Valet services were great. We enjoyed eating at the Redfish restaurant while staying at Wayfinder. Hot tub was nice and so was the pool. Poolside rooms are spacious and have all the necessary amenities. Easy walk to the beach and shops at the International Market. Enjoyed the stay very much.

Excellent luxury hotel. The dolphins are amazing. The building itself needs a little maintenance. The ac unit in our room made some strange noises. The battery in the safe needed replaced and the lighting in the bathroom is much too low. The pool furniture and umbrellas are faded. However, the place is very nice and slightly away from the craziness of Waikiki beach. Very private beach. All three restaurants are much too overpriced for the food. They are higher end but $50 for a breakfast is ridiculous. That alone will probably have us stay at the Moana next time.

We were pleasantly surprised as we have stayed at Four Seasons, Astoria and Ritz Hotels.
Great ocean front property with excellent 5 star service!
Pool is oversized and has great accommodations for sun worshippers and guests who need more shade.
Location is outstanding as you can walk to the luxury shops and many amazing restaurants if you want to try something different.
We had several spa treatments that were also excellent along with the many drinks and light lunches by the pool.
The restaurant service and food is also outstanding .
I find this hotel more of a 5 star boutique hotel and very calming!
We usually stay at the four seasons in Maui but my husband wanted to go to Honolulu and I wanted to be on the ocean, this hotel seemed to be the only fit for luxury and walkability that is ocean front!
I would highly recommend staying here as the Four Seasons in Hawaii is much further out and the Ritz Carlton is not ocean front!
Loved it
