The stay was good , room was clean and staff was friendly however it does not state that valet is MANDATORY (45 per night) also the property has balconies but balcony access is restricted in all rooms and the balcony was the main reason I booked. Close to the highway so you hear traffic all night

This hotel was top tier for the price. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, and the rooms were clean.

The bathroom layout was awkward—it required closing the door just to access the sink. The closet door wouldn’t stay open and kept swinging shut while I was changing. The TV was noticeably dusty, and while minibar snacks weren’t replaced after being eaten, some tasted old and stale. The window panels had tape annd appeared damaged, as if they had been broken previously, and several of the window shades were not functioning properly or wouldn’t close at all. That said, the bed was comfortable, and the rest of the room and bathroom were clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating, which I appreciated. I also liked the added security of needing a key card to access the elevator, and the smart TV was a nice feature. However, getting to the hotel was extremely frustrating due to ongoing construction. One-way traffic and constant road closures made parking very difficult, often taking hours to figure out a route. The parking validation was a nice touch, though. One night, the crowd in the hotel felt a bit off, which impacted the overall experience. Considering the price I paid, I expected the room to be immaculate. Overall, I don’t believe this hotel should be rated as “wonderful” on Expedia, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

On a positive: check in was relatively fast and accommodating, beautiful views of the ocean. On the other hand, room furniture was old, room was consistently not made up until early evening hours, phone calls for hotel services were not answered for up to 10 minutes, daily parking fees were unreasonably high.

Room was very nice , bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the showers are great , Only complaint would be the food from room service, for the price would expect better quality. Other than that great property, amazing staff!

Every staff member I interacted with was very lovely, my disappointment is only in the room. The lighting is awful, both harsh and dark at the same time. A couch in my room was impossible to sit on, the cushions were sunken in. The a/c was loud and not cool enough, the room had a stuffy air to it. The shower curtain allowed water to pool on the bathroom floor. Plugs for devices only on one side of the bed. It just did not feel like a 5 star property at all.

The room was very clean, staff were very nice and approachable, the ambience of the hotel was very pleasant.

The location of the hotel is perfect for Hollywood Boulevard. There is a wonderful Japanese restaurant about eight minute taxi ride in the hills. Great view wonderful service. The on and off bus and other excursions are right around the corner from the hotel. Jimmy Kimmel is also located around the corner and you can maybe sneak some tickets.
