South Bronx All inclusive Holidays

I was impressed with how clean, comfortable and quiet the hotel is and how conveniently located.

The hotel itself was nice. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were small and comfortable and so were the beds. They room was clean but could have used some updates and repairs. We had two main issues with our stay. The first was parking. The website states on-site parking which is definitely not the case. There is a public garage next to the property but was completely full with residents of the area that pay monthly and the staff there was rude. We had to drive several blocks to find an open lot as there was not any street parking and most streets people were double parked. Our other issue is that Saturday night there was an extremely large promotional party that we had no idea was happening. No notice was given to me when booking or when we arrived. There were so many people you could not even get into the lobby or from the lobby to the bar across from it. The party went until 11 pm and was extremely loud. After the event ended we were startled awake by ambulance and police sirens out front of the hotel. This wasn't just 1 or 2 cops this was dozens of police officers, multiple ambulance and a fire truck. I would like to give a better review as the hotel itself was very nice but the parking was a nightmare and should be stated correctly on the website so people know before booking. They should also tell people about large events like this as we would have chosen somewhere else to stay had we known.

Easy and early check in. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Traveled with a family of 4 (two kids), so the unit was more than enough space and the location suited our needs. Gym and laundry room was a plus! Would definitely stay here again.

We love the hotel and its location!! Super close to Chinatown, Noho, SoHo and very safe. The bakery next door sends croissants for the guests for breakfast everyday !! Will be back!!

Great stay at the Sofitel New York! The hotel was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was excellent from check-in to check-out. Everyone was friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again!

I will definitely be staying here again! The bed was comfy and there was no noise from the streets. I stayed in room 1223 and it’s right next to the elevators with a king bed. The ac was cold and stayed on for extra white noise which I love because it helps me sleep. The Throwback restaurant and bar is out the front door of the hotel and take 2 lefts. It’s a great spot to watch sports and eat.

Third stay at Hotel St James, my “go to” venue for NYC stays. Clean comfy room and helpful staff. Conveniently located just off Times Square. A short walk to either 47-50th St (Rockefeller) or 42nd Street (Times Square) subway stations, between these two you can get to almost anywhere in NY quickly and cheaply. I look forward to staying again on the future!
