We stayed in Morris #517. This is an excellent well appointed, clean and remodeled unit. Some of the common areas have not been as well maintained, and a number of areas are currently being worked on. This is a mix of long term rentals, residents and short term holiday units. The local by the Cultural district is unparalleled in Cairns and makes this a great choice for active folks. the airplanes do land/take off nearby, so if that would be a bother to you please be sure to consider. For us, no worries.

Very spacious with a nice view towards the ocean.

The room was excellent, spacious, very comfortable bed, good shower, well appointed with lots of extras and a great view across the marina. (We booked a Horizon Club Marina View King Room). We really enjoyed the beautiful breakfast. The staff were always friendly and very helpful. The Shangri La The Marina is very well located on the marina, but close to shops, restaurants and other facilities

Good location for day trips, but noisy at night as opposite Casino Property is looking a little old and dated could use some sprucing up Breakfast buffet bit boring, same thing everyday, most was cold except toast and fresh cooked eggs, not worth $40 per day Needed a sewing kit, they were unable to help

We had a great time at the pool. We also played table tennis and other games. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Lovely stay at the Freestyle. The owners are super helpful and very passionate and knowledgable about the area too
