A good hotel to stay at which was convenient for a holiday in New York. Walkable distance to main attractions.

This property was beautifully renovated. I visited with my teen daughter and felt very safe in the hotel and surrounding area. This hotel is very centrally located so if you are looking to hit up many sites in LA this is a great spot. Quiet and a little off the beaten path but definitely walkable to shopping (Century City) and Beverly Hills area. We booked the Gold level and it was great, They had a separate concierge lounge that you can get small breakfast items/appetizers/snacks and grab water/soda on the go. Bella (the other staff as well in the Gold level) were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Location is great! Near Lincoln Center and several restaurants and Shops. Room was clean despite Hotel is old and would benefit from a renovation. Having a tighter policy on non-smoking… including weed is important as the corridor smelled it…

The check in process was quick and simple. Plenty of parking. Everything was kept clean, from the property to our rooms. My only recommendation for the them would be to have some type of small patio with an ashtray for the smokers. There are plenty of people who smoke with no place to sit down and have a moment. which leads to them smoking in random places. If you have a designated spot with benches, umbrellas then they become localized which is easier to keep clean.

Good overall stay. I stayed at Westin back in October. I'm not sure how the Westin is a 4 star hotel and JW is a 5 star. Only thing I can think of is the location.
