Excellent staff, location, and experience!! The room was spacious for NYC. It was clean and the service was amazing. Anything we requested was fulfilled quickly. The staff was so friendly, they even provided umbrellas on any days that forecasted rain. The location was centrally located for our needs and there are several market options with a block or two for groceries or snacks. The subway is a block away. It was so quiet in our room and the beds were very comfortable. A+++

I walked into the hotel after trying to check in online. It was past 11pm. The rate in Expedia for the queen room was around 250. When walking in they said they only had the king room available which was 500 usd +. I said I would book the room available through Expedia and he said - if you do that I will say it’s unavailable and cancel. In a few seconds he cancelled the availability through Expedia and made me pay more. Given it was raining and close to midnight it was a hard decision to walk out. So the checkin experience was strange and not very good. The highlife was the bellman who brought us water, was very kind and friendly. Completely different attitude from the checkin desk.
