We love the hotel and its location!! Super close to Chinatown, Noho, SoHo and very safe. The bakery next door sends croissants for the guests for breakfast everyday !! Will be back!!

Hotel hits all the 5 star spots apart from 2 points. 1 - the rooms are not soundproof at all, and being able to hear the conversations in the room next door so clear that i could repeat what they were saying is not what i would expect. Second - the front desk staff are not as polished and committed to the level of service i would expect from a top end 5 star hotel. Doormen were top class. All in all it's a good hotel, but with so much choice in NY, i have stayed in better.

Gold tier room on floor 7 was clean, staff was helpful and nice. The neighborhood its in felt safe enough, and was walkably close to central park, several kinds of food, and several subway lines.
Beds were soft, clean. AC worked nice. Bathroom was clean, shower pressure fantastic.
If I had to be picky and give criticism, I'd say I wish they had conditioner as well as shampoo. My hair tangles :(
