Everything outside the hotel were within walking distance especially the restaurants. The rooms were a little bit dirty with marks on the walls and bathroom sink. There were loose hair in the bathroom. Some of the staff at the cafe has poor hygiene. One staff sneezed and didn't wash his hands at the cafe

Dark area as soon as you get to stairs on front desk not welcoming ambience they should use LED day light . Too crowded downstairs that time.
Front of the hotel at night are also dark

My wife and I enjoyed staying at the Citadines Connect during our wedding anniversary. The hotel provided complimentary cake 😊 we plan to return soon. The MRT is across the street!

It is very central. It is right next to a mall and two other malls are on walking distance. MBS and gardens by the way are also walkable(20-30) mins. The area is very walk friendly. The location was a one of the main reasons why we went with the hotel and it did not disappoint.
The only negative thing was checkin experience. We arrived early. They refused to entertain us that checking was at 3 PM. We took an early flight so we were really tired by 3 PM. At 3 PM they realized that room that we booked was not ready. The lady did try to compensate, but experience was exhausting. We checked in around 4 PM.

A great location with a MRT station only 5 minutes walk away. Chinatown is about a 10 to 15 minute walk while there are countless places to dine within a few minutes. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and breakfast was excellent. I'll certainly stay at the Carlton City Hotel when I next visit Singapore.
