I like the history of the property. It's lobby is very pretty. The service was not great. I had multiple rooms I'd reserved. Staff at front desk seemed overwhelmed or confused at times and did not listen when I tried to check in. The rooms are dated with old carpet and mildew smell in bathroom and our sliding door/balcony was filthy with leaves and debris and very dirty windows. Not what I expected for the $$$

A very nice hotel and wonderful staff. The history of the hotel is cool also. One major issue was the beds were extremely uncomfortable- they were way too firm. How you sleep can impact your whole trip and it was difficult for both of us to get a good night sleep (we stayed 3 nights) because of the firmness of the bed. One minor issue in the bathroom was there was no hook by the shower to hang your towel- you had to lay it on the floor. Would I stay here again? It’s such a great and beautiful hotel with great amenities but until they get better mattresses then probably not.

At check in the staff was not helpful. They gave no overview of the amenities . I booked 2 rooms and they put them on 2 different floors. The rooms were quiet and clean . The area is a great for walking and felt safe. The parking is not great. It’s behind the hotel and it feels unsafe for use late at night . I would recommend Valet parking.

For the price of the stay the room didn't have a refrigerator or a microwave. I felt a suite should come with more amenities. Overall not bad but i have had better stays.
