Great hotel, but the staff were keen to get us to check out at 10am despite check out being 12, knocking on the door asking us to leave. Housekeeping only came once, on our first morning there. Reception were lovely, and that’s the reason I ranked the staff as high as I have.

I chose this hotel because it was close to my friend’s house, it is not in the center. Beginning with a really friendly check in, my stay was excellent. This is not a five star hotel, nor should you expect one for the price, but the value per dollar ratio is super high. Well maintained, super clean and helpful staff. The sauna is huge and was a nice addition considering it was snowing. I was the only one in it, so a large private sauna is also a plus. Lastly, a lot of airplane pilots use the place, which is a testimony to its value.

Love that this hotel is outside of the busy city center but only 10-15 min away on public transportation. I have been coming here since at least 2013 - it’s my regular hotel in the city. Issue with the shuttle (out of service causing a 2 hr wait at Schiphol) was resolved quickly and adequately.

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay at Leonardo Hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark! The hotel location and hotel amenities were perfection! Nice hotel and friendly helpful staff. Room temp was hard to change. It was very warm and my attempts to turn the air on down failed. Shower glass was too small so bathroom floor got very wet. Good breakfast with options for gluten free.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful! They helped us navigate the tram, (the tram stop is very close to the hotel and it takes you directly to central Amsterdam), and moved us to a different room without question when we had a slight problem with our first asigned room. Breakfast at the hotel was very nice with a good variety and a spectacular view. We took advantage of the airport shuttle which was good value at $7.5 euro per person. I've heard others (a different hotel) were charged $55 euro to take a taxi.

Perfect hotel for an extended layover or weekend
Fantastic customer service, especially Florin at check-in. But the night manager was very accomodating too with some late night requests. The location is great for a morning run in the park, and very ample bufffet breakfast. Will definitely stay here again whenever we're in town.

Sometimes it seemed a bit too far from town, but it was manageable. Tram ride i was easy. We were very disappointed when we could not book in for dinner on our last night there. L17 was booked out and no access for us. It was obvious we were not welcome as the people at the desk made no effort to try and fit us in.

We stayed here unexpectedly due to cancelled flights for 2 nights. The staff is truly what makes this place shine. Rooms are pretty and chic, restaurant on site is convenient, but it’s truly the helpful staff that makes this place awesome. Each and every staff person I had the pleasure of encountering was more than willing to be helpful. We had to have lots of stuff printed as 2 people I was traveling with had lost their passports, and the front desk reception did everything to help us out. Even at 1am in the morning I could run down and ask for assistance. I called ahead to let them know we would be checking in late, and the gentleman said no problem at all! He reassured us so much, and when we arrived he popped his head out from the back to say we had spoken earlier. I work in the travel industry and this hotel’s hospitality was excellent. A true gem. The hotel is 15 min Uber ride to the consulate and Van Gogh museum. Uber is ready and willing to pick up from this hotel. We had a corner room and we appreciated all the views. Also after being in Europe for over 10 days unexpectedly, it was really nice to have American tv lol. The staff is what makes this place I will use this hotel if we go back and I will recommend to all our clients. Thank you to all of you who made our unexpected stay comfortable.

Overall, not bad. But I approached one of the staff and told them I was an international traveller /guest and had traveled for long hours and wanted to know if I could even pay to be able to check in early. I was told that was not possible. The staff member rather gave me the impression he was going to do something about it, called the housekeepers to clean my room immediately so he could allow me to check in. This was a hoax!!! I kept going back to check if the room was indeed ready and after 3 hours I realized he only lied to me. So I gave up after having sat for 4 hours plus and decided to go out to town so that by the time I came in it would be 3 pm at least so I could get the much needed rest. I think sometimes people should put a human face to some situations and that would go a long way. No complimentary water was given, once you check in, the staff couldn’t be bothered. Hotel is quiet but they can do a bit more for their guest.

Decent hotel in a fairly good location. The hotel is well kept and modern. It has minimal staff including room cleaning only on request. The breakfast was a disappointment with very limited choices particularly of hot food. The location is ideal - 20mins from airport and 15 to Dam Square.

The breakfast was excellent. It was quiet and convenient for what we wanted to do. Will stay there again. Felt it was expensive but I guess we were in Amsterdam at a busy time.

Staff were excellent. Touchpad on in room safe had a few numbers that weren’t working. Stayed for 5 nights and had to ask for cleaning service after 4 nights as instructions on service card imply it will be automatically after 3. Front office Staff are aware of issue so perhaps should explain process at checking for long stay guests. Otherwise very happy with overall stay!

Everything was excellent from check-in to check-out! Breakfast on floor 17 was delicious and the views of the city are spectacular!!! So close to public transportation and walking is a straight shot down to Dam Square and central station. We will definitely stay here again!
