About this property
Home away from home
Our cool and comfortable two bedroom apartment with broad daylight has a true city feeling! It comfortably fits up to six guests and is centrally located in a quiet residential area served by excellent public transport connections at 5 minutes walking distance. Our home is your home. During your stay, our entire apartment is for your use, kitchen equipped with all basic utilities to prepare light meals, with oven, stove and a coffee machine with capsules. The living room to relax and have a meal at the dining table. The two bedroom has 3 doble beds in total and high quality bedding is provided as well as towels for each person. We should mention beforehand that the windows are slightly old and therefore as we are located in the city, noises can reach the apartment. Please do not think it is extremely loud now, but we prefer to mention this beforehand. Also, the layout of the bathroom is quite peculiar and you must be aware of that looking at the photos.
The surroundings are very quiet and safe even at night.
We have a very flexible check-in procedure. Our standard check-in time is at 16.00 on the arrival day. In case you can’t make it so early for the key handover, we provide you with the option to check-in using a safebox at the entrance of the building so that you can check-in whenever you arrive on that day.
Check-out time is until 11.00 on the departure day.
We should also mention that there is no elevator in the house. Since the apartment is on the second floor, you’ll have to walk up to reach it. The stairs aren't steep, but we prefer you to be aware of this beforehand :)
Parking : This is a residential area. There are two types of parking surrounding the house : “White Zone” parking is to be paid for by the hour, “Blue Zone” parking is for free provided you set a blue parking sign on the dashboard of the car for an hour. Alternatively, you can buy a daily parking sign from the local Police that allows you to park everywhere in the city of Zürich for one day, and costs CHF 15 / day, search for tagesbewilligung blaupark.
Any questions I would be very pleased to answer.

The host were very communicative for all our needs. Quick 20 minute walk to downtown Zurich, so prefect location. It was spacious and the shower had great pressure and hot water. For a quick stay on a budget, it’s excellent.
This apartment was perfect for our stay in Zurich. The communication with the host was excellent and the apartment was exactly as represented in a nice, quiet area of the city.
the property had the basics there.
after the restaurant closed it was quiet and the area had a lot of public transport easily to both central zurich and the airpot
Overall it is a good location for short stay. The bathroom was cramped with odd toilet and shower configuration. The place was hot in the summer even with all the windows opened. The host was fast with communication an we didn’t have any problem with checking-in.
Check in process was very clear and simple to follow! Location was close by to bus and tram stops so it was just a 5 min walk. The unit had all the amenities provided (toiletry, towels, cookware, etc.) The check out process was just as easy too. We had no issues and thank you for the hospitality!
We stayed for a few nights over the holidays. The apartment was very clean, just tight on space. The kitchen had everything we needed especially while Zurich was shut down for Christmas. Where it wasn't ideal was that the bathroom is very cramped and the TV didn’t work. Definitely not suitable for people with mobility challenges. All-in-all it's fine as long as you are expecting no frills.
Great facilities, capsule coffee machine (pods were supplied 👍). As advertised, numerous stairs to carry heavy luggage up to unit, SBB train/Zurich tram 10-15mins walk, bus route 5mins.
Unit is older but clean. Floors in unit creak quite a bit when walking around, as well as thin walls/floors being able to hear every step from occupants in unit above. Convenient to get to central Zürich even being located more toward the edge of the city. Bought a “Blue Zone” parking pass for the day, however unable to find any spots even remotely close to the building, or throughout the city central areas. Ended up spending 50 CHF to park in parking lot when exploring. Recommend NOT buying the Blue Zone pass.

I usually don’t put bad rates on a stay but at this time I need to do it, I traveled with my brother and his family and for them the experience was not good at all. The apartment was ok and clean, the bathroom was weir but clean. now the entrance of the building is horrible and scary, you have to entrance thru the side of the building where the garbage dumpsters are located, we arrived late at night and to get the key to enter the apartment you need to find the lock box that is really at the side of dumpster, once you open the door of the building there is a horrible cigarettes’ smell and the first impression of the stairs were not good at all, once you open the door the fist thing you see is a door that takes you to a dark lower level, not knowing is someone is going to jump on you, my sister in law and niece did not want to stay but since we arrived late we have no choice. Please you need to be more clear about this on the advertisement of the apartment
This apartment was bright and appeared to be freshly painted and equipped with everything needed. It was on the second floor though with no elevator. This was something I failed to notice before booking - that’s on me.
It listed a washer and dryer which it did have. However, it was in a very dingy, dank basement and shared with a restaurant and the rest of the building. As mentioned in the listing the bathroom is a little odd and extremely small. It was also very noisy every night, usually til about 11:00 pm. It was also a little far from the city center, so we spent a lot on taxis.
Sehr saubere, praktische Whg in ruhiger Wohngegend, Stadtteil Wiedikon.
Leider kein kostenloser Parkplatz vorhanden. Innenstadt schnell zu erreichen
