Gemütlicher Aufenthalt

Wir waren mit dem Fahrrad hier. Gebucht hatten wir ein Doppelzimmer, Gemeinschaftsbad. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Statt wie gebucht, hat man uns (älteres Ehepaar) anstelle eines Kajütenzimmers ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett angeboten. Sehr grosszügig! Grosser Aufenthaltsraum, grosse Terrasse. Preis/Leistung siper

Lovely guesthouse with Mountain views. Breakfast was simple but good, too. Plenty of room for my belongings & the bed was comfy. Hand and bath towel provided; shampoo in shared bathroom. Don’t worry if you arrive after 6PM, contactless check in instructions are provided. Guesthouse is a gem in the Upper Engadin area. Will definitely be back in the summer! Thanks Nadja & team!

Gefallen hat die Lage der Unterkunft im Engadin, in ruhiger Lage, kein Straßenlärm, in unmittelbarer Nähe der Rhätischen Eisenbahn. Sehr angenehm war, dass man seine nassen Sachen im Heizungskeller trocknen durfte. Auch die Möglichkeit, das eigene Rad in der Garage des Hauses zu putzen, wurde mir eingeräumt. Das hat mir gut gefallen. Die angegliederte Kindertagesstätte ist nicht störend, sondern bereichernd. Einmal gab es eine Musikprobe im Haus. Es liegen viele Prospekte aus. Man bekommt alle Informationen. Die Rezeption ist morgens bis 10 Uhr und dann nochmal ab 16 Uhr besetzt.

Perfect no-frills place in Oberengadin!

The focus of my trip was on the amazing nature of Oberengadin and not so much on a luxury hotel: I just needed a place to sleep during the night. Gästehaus Convict is the perfect answer: a simple and efficient 'no frills' place with cheerful service that is very convenient. I shall no doubt be back!

Great location and free parking. Pretty decent price though beds were not the most comfortable and breakfast options are limited to bread, ham and cheese. Cross-country skiing trails right outside. Microwave and kettle in the dining area available 24/7.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut fair und top. Alles notwendige ist vorhanden und unkompliziert nutzbar. Die Sauberkeit lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wer es einfach mag ist hier an der richtigen Stelle. Natürlich kann man für diesen Preis kein Extra-Wellness und Luxus-Frühstück erwarten. Das Gebotene ist jedoch hinreichend und gut.

Das Hotel ist eine echte Alternative zu all den vielen enorm teuren Häusern im Engadin. Wer auf Luxus verzichten kann und ein gutes Preis/Leistungs-Verhältnis schätzt wird hier zufrieden sein. Zudem liegt das Hotel prima nahe zum Bahnhof und zum Dorfzentrum. Gerne wieder :-)

Good low-cost option for St Moritz area

Very friendly reception and good breakfast. Room is small and spartan but fairly quiet and generally comfy apart from slightly scratchy bedding. Well sign-posted and good parking. I suggest only getting pizza at the nearby Walthers restaurant that others have recommended. The meat dishes were vastly overpriced and poor.

Seems overpriced for what you get, but acceptable.

Basics hostel accommodations . We had a shared bathroom, with a sink in the room also. Didn't use the shower, so cannot comment. No washer and dryer available, contrary to description. Breakfast was typical to above average. No real view. Very small "playground" for children on site. The biggest issue was that we showed up around 7:30 and they apparently close reception at 7PM (at least in May). The place was locked with a notice saying to use the entry code texted to your phone. Well, I had provided my US cell phone number, but when I got to Germany I replaced it with a local SIM (a 3+ hour process BTW), and so my phone no longer received calls/text for the US number. LUCKILY the man who helps run the place saw us pull in and came back to let us in. I have NO idea what we would have done otherwise. Also, finding the entrance to the parking lot was a challenge; you sort of have to drive all the way around the place to get in. (Google and GPS did not help.)

Vi fikk en "suprice" da det var køyseng på rommet, og WC og dusj ute i gangen. Alt veldig rent og pent. Ankom kaffitørst, men de hadde ikke noe og tilby på kvelden. Frokost var god og enkel.
