"Access is difficult. Reception is on the 7th floor and you have to ring the doorbell and wait up to 10 minutes for the door to open. Don’t plan on getting your room early. We arrived at 11 and waited 4 hours. Room was spacious with balcony."

"The best meal of our short stay was dinner at the hotel. My husband said his strip steak was superb. A mix of stir-fried vegetables were the best I’ve ever tasted. The hotel was nestled in a lovely historic area."

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location even if you haven't got a car as the bus stop is just round the corner taking you into the centre and the station in around 15 minutes. Also good for cyclists as they have a locked store. Not many places to eat nearby however. Breakfast is fine. Beds are very comfortable and although rooms are quite small there's everything that you need for a short stay. Next door hotel is popular with commercial drivers so can be noisy early morning."
