"Cabin was awesome. Dogs next door (very close-shared driveway) didn’t only bark when we arrived or left they barked on/off at night. One morning my canine wake up call came at 4:30am. Only one of the outside lights worked but it could be that we couldn’t figure out which light switch turned them on. Cabin was very clean and well decorated. Beds were very comfortable and all furniture was clean and in great condition. This was our 16th annual Girls Weekend, so we’ve stayed in 15 other cabins in Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. Overall experience staying at this cabin was a positive one with the exception of the barking dogs all hours of the night."

"This property setting was beautiful. We saw deer in the morning as we looked over the deck. We sat out by the firepit and gazed over the lake watching boats passing by. The home was gorgeous and inviting. The hosts were amazing and very accommodating. We would definitely reserve the property again. We had a relaxing and wonderful stay. Thank you Linda and Josh."

"We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again! Communication was immediate and helpful throughout booking and the duration of the stay. Beautiful lake view! The house layout is perfect for comfort, entertainment, relaxation, and providing several great gathering spaces and quiet spaces. The house was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable extended family weekend."

Prather Place, Spacious, Deck And View, Entertaining Basement, Minutes to Marina

"The house is lovely and well suited for a large group. There are a ton of activities in the basement for older kids and adults. They were also toys and books for children in the family room. There is a huge amount of storage space around the house and beds were very comfortable. The views were outstanding. Unfortunately, we could not enjoy the deck due to very hot temperatures. We sat outside one evening. The cushions were a bit worn and so was some of the furniture. The deck needs to be stained. The supplies were reasonable. It would’ve been nice to have a second big skillet for cooking. Several of the pans and cookware were worn and needed to be replaced. It is not an ideal central location to activities.It is a bit further drive to the Cumberland Falls and other activities. It does not have lake access from the property. Nice sized beaches were further away. The smoke detector alarm went off at 2:00 AM. The host did not respond to our call until the next morning. We ended up researching what to do. It gave us guidance on how to clean the device which stopped the alarm from beeping. Everyone including two small children were wKen by the load and piercing alarm. We could not get back to bed for hours. Hostess response was not ideal. No apology for the inconvenience. Despite the beautiful interior of the house and spacious layout with beautiful views , we would not stay there again."
