הדירה מקסימה, מפנקת, נקיה, מאובזרת להכנת ארוחות. העניין היחיד היה, שהיא לא ממוקמת בכתובת בה היא מפורסמת, ולמעשה היא רחוקה מהמדרחוב - כך שהיינו צריכים לשנות את התוכניות, אבל לפחות קיבלנו נוף נהדר

Misleading

The lovely photo of the Baronita on Expedia is in fact a nice restaurant with that name in the middle of Zikhron Yaakov. For the room, you need to get the key from the restaurant staff. I notified them in advance when I'd be there to pick up the key but I still had to wait for someone to come deliver it to me. The rooms are in a residential building almost a mile away -- not great if you don't have a car. There were no printed directions to find it, just a map drawn by a helpful person in the restaurant. The room itself was fine, but I'd recommend sticking with the established places (similar distance from town but with standard amenities).

Neat place, surprised owners.

We followed the time line for check-in but the proprietors had no idea who we were and what we were supposed to get...originally thought and trued to send us to a hotel down the road, then did not know that our cost included breakfast. When they figured it out, it took another 30-45 min to prepare the room. In the end, after trying to blame Expedia, they admitted to their error and made things right. So - a rough start but a pleasant finish.

Great stay at Baronita.

Small "hotel", just two rooms above a restaurant. But the breakfast was amazing, the restaurant is not too noisy, and this is a nice area. From a business perspective, if you have business in both Tel Aviv and Haifa, this is a nice midpoint, in a small town, to base yourself. Probably that central location works well for a vacation.

Actual room was not the advertised room, it was several miles away in different part of town. Room was good, but different than expectations and pictures. Communication with manager was difficult due to not present at site. Misunderstanding about length of stay turned out to be my error, but frustrating to come back to unit at 10:30 at night and find note saying all our stuff was removed from room because we didn't check out on time. Communication from manager was not specific about day, only stated a time. No reply to email and telephone calls. Finally got ahold of manager and retrieved stuff at midnight. Admittedly, checkout day error was mine, but lack of ability to communicate with manager escalated it to disaster for us. And hotels.com listing was of different place than what we got. Too bad, because unit was nice, but poor communication on multiple issues spoiled the stay.
