You can reach me quickly through the booking platform, and I will typically respond within minutes. If you ever need help, have a question about the home, or want local recommendations, I’m here to make your stay as easy and enjoyable as possible.

    Skyland — Your Immediate Neighborhood
You're staying in Skyland, one of Tahoe's oldest lakeside communities, dating back to 1959. It's a quiet, residential stretch of the east shore with around 230 homes — no big commercial strip, just tree-lined streets and lake views. The neighborhood's private homeowners' beach sits at the west end of Skyland Drive (accessed via Skyland Ct) — a sunny, sandy spot that's great for swimming, picnicking, or launching a kayak or paddleboard. It's shared among Skyland residents and their guests, so it stays quiet and uncrowded compared to public beaches nearby.

Zephyr Cove — A Few Minutes Away
Just down the road, Zephyr Cove Resort has a marina, a restaurant, and Lake Tahoe boat cruises if you want to get out on the water. In winter, it's also home to a snowmobile touring center. It's an easy stop for lake activities without driving all the way into South Lake Tahoe

Stateline & South Lake Tahoe -The Wider Area
About 10–15 minutes away, you'll find
Heavenly Mountain Resort — skiing/riding in winter, plus a scenic gondola ride with lake views year-round
Stateline casinos — Harrah's, Harveys, Bally's, Hard Rock, and Golden Nugget, all clustered together with dining, shows, and nightlife
Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course — a well-known lakefront course
Heavenly Village — outdoor shopping and dining plaza right at the base of the gondola
Nevada Beach — a larger public beach with mountain backdrop views, good for a change of scenery

    Where to Eat
A few standouts across different vibes and budgets
Edgewood Restaurant — upscale fine dining at the Edgewood Tahoe resort, good for a special-occasion dinner
Fridays Station Steak & Seafood Grill — steakhouse on the top floor of Harrah's, known for the lake views as much as the food
Riva Grill on the Lake — lakefront dining, relaxed but polished
Base Camp Pizza Co. — casual, popular with both locals and visitors
Lucky Beaver Bar & Burger — open 24 hours, good option for a late arrival or late-night bite

Seamless contactless check in with 24/7 customer service.

This Tahoe retreat sits quietly among the pines in the well-spaced Deer Cliff neighborhood of Zephyr Cove, offering both privacy and convenience. Forest views surround the home, and private neighborhood beach access is just a short walk away, giving you a peaceful place to enjoy Lake Tahoe without crowds.

Inside, the main level has an easy, open layout. The upstairs living room is bright and comfortable with lots of seating and a smart TV, and it connects smoothly to the dining area and the deck outside. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, with plenty of counter space, open shelving, modern appliances, and everything needed for full meals or casual cooking. The dining table seats eight and opens directly to an outdoor deck with a BBQ and forest backdrop.

The master suite sits on this level as well. It includes patio access, a spacious layout, and its own spa-style bathroom with a steam shower, a waterfall showerhead, a double vanity, and a walk-in closet. Two additional upstairs bedrooms each feature queen beds, natural light, and easy access to the shared bathroom.

The lower level offers an entirely separate space for entertainment and quiet retreat. The game room includes a full-size pool table, a smart TV, a pull-out couch, and sliding door access to the sauna and the covered hot tub deck. Next to it is a dedicated office and lounge area with a desk, seating, and two chairs that both pull out into twin beds—perfect for extra guests or giving kids and teens their own space. A downstairs bedroom with a queen bed sits near a unique bathroom that features a stone-accent walk-in shower and a natural wood vanity topped with a carved vessel sink.

Around the home, the forested property adds to the sense of retreat. Tall trees, natural boulders, and open ground create a quiet mountain atmosphere. The wraparound deck provides outdoor seating and space to relax among the pines, while the covered hot tub offers year-round comfort. The entryway features a stone path and steps leading down to the door, and a peaceful Buddha statue sits in the garden as a gentle reminder to slow down and enjoy the setting. (In winter, the outdoor steps may be slippery.)

The neighborhood itself is calm and residential, known for larger lots that feel private without being remote. Heavenly Ski Resort, Stateline casinos, dining, and the marina at Zephyr Cove Resort are all just minutes away, making it easy to enjoy skiing, boating, hiking, and lakeside activities throughout the year.

This home blends comfort, privacy, and Tahoe character in a way that makes stays feel relaxed and memorable. Whether you’re using the steam shower after a ski day, relaxing in the hot tub under the trees, playing pool downstairs, or enjoying the forest air on the deck, it’s a place that brings together all the best parts of the Tahoe experience.

    Nearest Airport

Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is the closest option — about 52 miles away, roughly a 51-minute drive without traffic or stops. Route: south on Hwy 395 to Carson City, then west on Hwy 50 over Spooner Summit into the Tahoe Basin.

Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is a further-out alternative, better if you're connecting through Northern California — about 114.5 miles, roughly a 2.5-hour drive.

No Rental Car? Airport Shuttle Option

South Tahoe Airporter runs a shuttle from Reno-Tahoe International Airport to Stateline, NV (Lakeside Inn), about 5 times a day — tickets run $30–33, journey takes about 1h 15m. From Stateline, you'll still need a taxi or rideshare to reach the property (roughly a 10–15 minute ride).

    Rideshare & Taxis

Uber and Lyft do serve the South Lake Tahoe/Stateline area, but availability is noticeably lower than in major cities, and surge pricing can be significant during peak ski season. If you're arriving late at night or during a busy winter weekend, it's worth booking a shuttle/car service in advance rather than counting on grabbing a rideshare on the spot.

    Local Public Transit

BlueGO (Tahoe Transportation District) runs bus routes through the South Shore/Stateline area, including routes that pass near Zephyr Cove — useful for getting into South Lake Tahoe or Stateline for dining/casinos, but there's no direct stop at the property itself, so plan on a taxi or rideshare for the last stretch. Winter service can also run on a reduced/seasonal schedule, so check current timetables if you're relying on it.

    Winter Driving Note

If you're driving in from Reno via Hwy 50, Spooner Summit is the chain-control bottleneck during storms — you may need tire chains even with all-wheel drive. Allow about 90 minutes in normal conditions, but 2+ hours in heavy weather. Worth mentioning to guests renting a car in winter so they're not caught off guard.

    Parking Once You're Here

On-site parking only (driveway/garage) — no street parking, RVs, trailers, or boats, per county regulation.

Fall asleep to pine-scented mountain air and wake up minutes from an exclusive neighborhood stretch of Lake Tahoe beach. This 4-bedroom, 3-bath retreat in Zephyr Cove's quiet Deer Cliff neighborhood is built for real relaxation — and real togetherness.

Soak in the year-round hot tub tucked among the pines, unwind in the sauna or the master suite's spa-style steam shower, or rack up a game downstairs on the full-size pool table. The open main level connects a fully stocked kitchen to a dining table that seats all 8 guests, spilling out onto a deck with forest views and a BBQ — perfect for a group that actually wants to cook and gather, not just crash.

The space The main level's living room is bright and open, flowing easily into the dining area and outdoor deck. The master suite here includes patio access and its own spa-style bathroom with steam shower and double vanity. Two more bedrooms upstairs offer queen beds and share a bath.

Downstairs is built for entertainment: a game room with pool table, smart TV, and pull-out couch opens directly onto the sauna and covered hot tub deck. Next door, a lounge/office area with two additional pull-out twin beds gives kids or teens their own space. A fourth bedroom downstairs has its own uniquely designed bathroom with a stone-accent shower.

Outside, tall pines and natural boulders create genuine privacy without feeling remote — and a short walk brings you to exclusive neighborhood beach access, a rare find on this side of the lake.

Location Ten to fifteen minutes from Heavenly Mountain Resort, minutes from Stateline's casinos and dining, and close to the marina at Zephyr Cove Resort — you're near everything Tahoe offers, in a neighborhood quiet enough to actually unwind.
