This home offers you an extraordinary retreat on the outskirts of Zella-Mehlis, where the beauty of nature and modern comfort blend perfectly. The swivel fireplace serves as the warm heart of this special holiday home.

The spacious living area, with its impressive loft, creates an airy atmosphere. The high-quality furnishings—from the characterful stone sink to the elegant real wood elements—underscore the chalet’s upscale character.

Outside, two floating loungers invite you to relax. The barbecue area with a fire pit promises convivial evenings under the open sky, while the private sauna provides relaxing wellness moments. The accommodation is particularly family-friendly: in the spacious garden, hidden seating areas, a hanging chair by the small pond, and a versatile playground with a trampoline, rope slide, and swings await explorers of all ages. For motorcyclists and outdoor enthusiasts, convenient parking spaces and a drying room are available. Use of the sauna, including towels and sauna oil, is available for a fee. The dog fee (max. 2 dogs) is €10 per dog per night.

Right next to the house, you can go tobogganing, biking, sunbathing, enjoy the peace and quiet, and—with a little luck—spot red deer and wild boar from the panoramic window. Worthwhile destinations in the immediate vicinity include the Ruppberghütte or the Schneekopf, the Rennsteig summit hiking trail, the sports facilities in Oberhof, the Explorata interactive museum, Fritz Park, and the marine aquarium. Places like Meiningen, Weimar (the city of the Bauhaus and Goethe), the Krämerbrücke in Erfurt, the Hainich Tree-Top Trail, or Wartburg Castle in Eisenach are also quickly accessible thanks to excellent transport connections. Hikes through the Vessertal Biosphere Reserve, recognised by UNESCO, are truly unforgettable. Crystal-clear streams meander through largely untouched nature, inviting you to unwind and relax. In winter, more than 70 km of groomed cross-country trails await you, as well as several ski lifts with a wide variety of runs throughout the Rennsteig region.

Location of the Accommodation

The Feuerzauber holiday homes are located on the outskirts of Zella-Mehlis, right on the hiking trail. From here, you have a beautiful view of the valley and the surrounding mountains.
To relax after a strenuous hike, you’ll have access to a private seating area with patio furniture and a barbecue fireplace, as well as your own sauna. The garden is fully fenced. A large forest playground is perfect for letting the kids run around. Zella-Mehlis is a state-recognized resort town.
