"We had a great time in Upahl. We stayed in a beautiful old farmhouse. The place was clean and tidy. There were two sitting rooms, a equipped kitchen and a nice terrace to sit and to enjoy the garden. There was a lot to see and do in the surroundings. So I very recommend this beautiful place to stay!"

"Die Unterkunft ist wie auf den Bildern gezeigt. Sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber.Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war stets sehr nett und auch der kurze Besuch des mannes, war sehr angenehm. Alles in allem ein sehr, sehr empfehlenswertes Feriendomizil, welches platz für mehrere Leute bietet.Ein Highlight ist definitiv der Pool und die Sauna, in denen man super entspannen kann und danach einfach die schöne Aussicht auf den See genießen kann oder einen beherzten Sprung ins kühle Nass wagen...

When we arrived we were told we would have to send the property manager 100 Euros via PayPal and they would bring us bedding and towels but not until the next day leaving us to sleep on nothing the first night. "Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt hier. Rehe, Hasen und verschiedene Vögel waren regelmäßige Besucher. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und ungestört. Es war ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Berlin, Hamburg, Ratzeburg, Schwerin, Lübeck, Celle, an die Nordseeküste und viele weitere Orte. Die Besitzer waren sehr hilfsbereit. Das Haus selbst ist faszinierend und erinnert sowohl innen als auch außen an einen Bahnhof. Ein fantastischer Urlaub!"

"The hotel is a good walkable location for accessing the town center and Schloss. Staff and check in were excellent. The rooms were spacious, modern, well decorated, and clean. The mattress and bedding were very comfortable. The parking garage was inexpensive and there was plenty of spaces. That is the good. It was a hot June weekend and a key criteria for choosing a hotel was an AC cooled room. Outside during the day, it was 32 centigrade. The room at check in was close to 30. When we returned in the evening the outside temperature was 24 centigrade. The room was still close to 30. We turned on the AC, all it did was blow warm air. Front desk was not able to assist. We were forced to sleep in a hot room that never cooled over the course of the night. Cooling should be based on room temperature and occupancy, not outside temperature."

"Needed a stay for 1 night while on the road. Booked online. Arrivedto check in, staff member was on the phone. He didn't acknowledge my arrival, and, once iff the phone, continued working at his desk. 2 men arrived, and with that, staff member got up to assist them first, but they stated that i was ahead of them. He was sullen and as unhelpful as could be. I filled out the paperwork and we went up. The room was basic, it could definitely use some freshening, fresh paint and upgrades to the sad looking bathroom. Overall, its a mediocre place and I would never stay here again."
